Eyebiter Man

from Prepare To Be Rustled by The Jimmys

/

about

"Eyebiter Man" is the favorite Jimmys' song of The Jimmys. Between the craziness and (I am at a lack of a word to describe how I feel about this song), it features The Jimmys at their most entertaining, fun, and laughable. With John screeching the words, Claire hitting her teeth with a Jew's Harp multiple times, and Jimmy attempting to be a grandson during the dialogue, it may not be the best all around song, but it is the best song to express The Jimmys.

lyrics

Let me tell you ‘bout a story
Not a year gone by
Since the eyebiter man
Done took my eye
Cause he’s The eyebiter man
The eyebiter man
The eyebiter man ran like the win’
And I ain’t seen him ever since

The eyebiter man
He’s gonna come for me again
I can feel it in my bones
I can feel it ‘neath my skin
Cause he’s the eyebiter man
The eyebiter man
The eyebiter man is a slimy son of a gun
Ain’t gonna let him take the other one

The eyebiter man
Gonna catch me again
Yeah the eyebiter man
He’s gonna get me if he can
Cause he’s the eyebiter man
He’s the eyebiter man
The eyebiter man gonna see me
He’s comin’ round the bend

Just the other day
I seen him with ole Oed
Eatin’ cornea on the cob
And spreadin’ jelly on their bread
Cause he’s the eyebiter man
He’s the eyebiter man
The eyebiter man is gonna get him too
But he ain’t gonna get me again

I seen him in town
He said he’s coming down
I’m gonna chase him off
Can’t ya see I’ve had enough
Cause he’s the eyebiter man
The eyebiter man
I walked right up to him and spit in his eye
He ain’t comin’ back till the swamp goes dry

The eyebiter man
Ain’t gonna catch me again
Yeah the eyebiter man
He can’t get to me my friend
Cause he’s the eyebiter man
The eyebiter man
The Eyebiter ain’t Gonna see me
He’s never comin’ back round the bend
